A small independent studio focused on thoughtful physical work.
Roscosmo Studio develops practical, playful, and technically grounded
products across electronics, enclosures, prototypes, and visual
documentation.
Short Bio
Designing objects that can survive contact with reality.
The studio sits between product design, electronics, fabrication,
and experimentation. Work tends to begin with curious prototypes and
move toward robust outcomes that can be assembled, tested, and
documented clearly.
The aim is not maximal complexity. The aim is useful complexity:
enough ambition to make a project distinctive, and enough restraint
to keep it manufacturable, repairable, and understandable.
Design Philosophy
Material decisions should carry meaning.
Products, prototypes, and interface experiments are treated as
systems, not isolated surfaces. Form, interaction, thermal
considerations, serviceability, and user feedback are all part of
the same design conversation.
That leads to a process that values fast testing, mechanical honesty,
clean visual hierarchy, and technical notes that make the work easier
to revisit later.
Capabilities
What the studio can cover.
Product concept development
Early direction, feature framing, layout studies, and product identity.
Electronics prototyping
Functional boards, component selection, rapid bench validation, and integration.
CAD and enclosure design
Housing geometry, internal packaging, part breakdown, and interface decisions.
Embedded systems
Firmware-aware hardware concepts, interaction logic, and test-oriented development.
Physical prototyping
Fit checks, mechanism iteration, tactile studies, and fabrication-ready revisions.
Visual design and documentation
Presentation material, diagrams, photography direction, and concise technical storytelling.
